A visit from Andrew Macintosh, DS Greig from TV’s “The Bill”. Andrew was brought up in Anstruther and attended the Waid Academy, he was particularly interested in how we will be involving Waid Pupils in the rebuild. The last Skipper Arthur Maddock’s daughter Suzanne also starred in the BIll as PC Cass Rickman. Andrew and Suzanne will be working together on some Manx Beauty Related projects.
He was shown the model of our boat by former Sea Queen Ellie Deas whose grandfather, Coull was crewing the Manx Beauty when she was requisitioned for WW2.
